How to change the server egg¶

An egg is an application or game template that determines the server's startup, variables, and environment. Change the egg when you want to use different server software.

1. Change the egg from billing¶

1. Open https://billing.nexuscloud.id/.
2. Log in to your account.
3. Complete your profile or billing details if the system asks for them.
4. Open the Kelola Server or Langganan menu.
5. Click Kelola on the service you want to change.
6. Look for the Egg option.
7. Select the new egg you need.
8. Confirm the change.

2. Reinstall the server in the panel¶

1. Open https://panel.nexuscloud.id/.
2. Select the same server.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Click Reinstall if the service workflow asks for it.
5. Wait for the reinstall to finish.
6. Go back to Console and start the server.

Important notes¶

• Don't delete all files right away without confirming they really are no longer needed.
• Old worlds, plugins, mods, or configs may not be compatible with the new egg.
• If you move from a Java plugin server to a modded server, you usually need to adjust the mods, plugins, and config files manually.

After changing the egg¶

• Check the Startup menu to make sure the variables look right.
• Run the server and check the console.
• If the server fails to start, delete only the files that are genuinely incompatible or restore from a backup.
