How to join a Java server from Minecraft¶
Once your Java server is running on NexusCloud, the next step is to add the server address to Minecraft Java Edition and join.
What you need¶
- A Java server that is Running in the NexusCloud panel.
- Minecraft Java Edition installed on your PC or laptop.
- The server's
IP:PORTaddress, available in the panel.
Steps¶
- Open
https://panel.nexuscloud.id/. - Select your Java server from the server list.
- Copy the server's
IP:PORTaddress, for examplejean.nexuscloud.id:12345. - Open Minecraft Java Edition.
- Click Multiplayer in the main menu.
- Click Add Server.
- Fill in Server Name with any name you like, for example
NexusCloud Server. - Fill in Server Address with the
IP:PORTyou copied, for examplejean.nexuscloud.id:12345. - Click Done.
- Find your server in the list, select it, and click Join Server.
- That's it, you are now playing on your Java server.
Notes¶
- Make sure the
IP:PORTaddress format is correct and the port is not blocked. - If you cannot join, also check the server status in the panel and make sure your Minecraft Java Edition is on a matching version.
