How to join a Java server from Minecraft

Once your Java server is running on NexusCloud, the next step is to add the server address to Minecraft Java Edition and join.

What you need

  • A Java server that is Running in the NexusCloud panel.
  • Minecraft Java Edition installed on your PC or laptop.
  • The server's IP:PORT address, available in the panel.

Steps

  1. Open https://panel.nexuscloud.id/.
  2. Select your Java server from the server list.
  3. Copy the server's IP:PORT address, for example jean.nexuscloud.id:12345.
  4. Open Minecraft Java Edition.
  5. Click Multiplayer in the main menu.
  6. Click Add Server.
  7. Fill in Server Name with any name you like, for example NexusCloud Server.
  8. Fill in Server Address with the IP:PORT you copied, for example jean.nexuscloud.id:12345.
  9. Click Done.
  10. Find your server in the list, select it, and click Join Server.
  11. That's it, you are now playing on your Java server.

Notes

  • Make sure the IP:PORT address format is correct and the port is not blocked.
  • If you cannot join, also check the server status in the panel and make sure your Minecraft Java Edition is on a matching version.
