How to enable the whitelist on a Java server¶

The whitelist restricts access to a Java server to players you have added.

Steps¶

1. Open the NexusCloud panel and select your server.
2. Open Console.
3. Scroll down, then click the Type a command field.
4. Enter whitelist on, then press Enter.
5. Enter whitelist add playername, replace playername with the player you want to allow, then press Enter.

That player can now join your server.

Notes¶

• Repeat whitelist add playername for every player you want to add.
• Enter the player's Minecraft username exactly.
