How to find a NexusCloud server's IPv4 address

A NexusCloud server address such as jean.nexuscloud.id is a hostname. You can resolve it to its current numeric IPv4 address when a domain provider or another integration specifically requires an IPv4 value.

Prefer the hostname when possible

A server's IPv4 address may change. Continue using the NexusCloud hostname unless the service you are configuring requires a numeric IPv4 address. Resolving the hostname reveals the server's public address; it does not hide the original IP.

Choose either IPLocation.io or Check-Host below. You only need to use one.

Find the hostname in the NexusCloud panel

  1. Open the NexusCloud panel.
  2. Select your server and locate its server address.
  3. Copy or note the hostname, for example jean.nexuscloud.id or hu-tao.nexuscloud.id.

Option 1: IPLocation.io

  1. Open IPLocation.io.
  2. Enter the NexusCloud hostname in the IP lookup field.
  3. Run the lookup using the control shown on the website.
  4. Wait for the results, then copy the displayed IPv4 address.

Option 2: Check-Host

  1. Open Check-Host.
  2. Enter the NexusCloud hostname in the host field.
  3. Open the host information lookup using the control shown on the website.
  4. Copy the IPv4 address displayed in the result.

Use the result

Enter the copied IPv4 address only where a service explicitly requires an IPv4 value, such as an A record in a DNS provider. Lookup results are informational and may differ or change, so keep the NexusCloud hostname saved and prefer it for stable access.
